I would like to start by saying that I cannot evaluate the economy because I have not visited it. In my opinion, the beer garden has steep prices for poor quality. The obazde is simply a cheese spread from the bucket that only represents what it should be in terms of color. The radish is tasteless and the snack plate is priced well above the level. The beer garden itself is beautifully situated. We paid over 35 euros for two beers, a snack plate, a plate of radish and obazten. I don't think that's justified. I can eat there for good.

Great beer garden, also for families with small children. The food is standard as in many other beer gardens and the beer tastes good. Thanks to the location in the forest, you can relax here in the shade with a mass of beer, even in midsummer, and maybe even talk to other people.

No 4 or 5 stars! Because when it comes to the kitchen, there are huge deductions here. I was a guest on Sunday around noon and had a real appetite for fish on a stick. When opening the fish, I noticed a huge air bubble under the skin, this stretched from the middle of the back to the tail. Since I was expecting a full fish for 13 euros, I complained about it and got a new one without any problems. Although it no longer had an air bubble, it still turned out to be an air number, because the meat was partially completely dried out and completely salty. Not only in my opinion, both fish and probably also the remaining fish from the previous day and only reheated once. In the future I will eat fish on a stick again from the parking lot at the REWE Center in Dachau, because I know it's fresh and worth the price!

The most beautiful beer garden has always been, but unfortunately the quality of the food has deteriorated significantly. The vinegar dumpling is completely tasteless, the dumpling as well as the yellowish marinade. The Obazde also has room for improvement. Please try again to enjoy the taste. Up to now we only knew the Mariabrunn Palace restaurant from the beer garden. Everything fits. But now we and our motorcycle club have spent an evening there with service and a real menu. The range of food and drinks convinced everyone, whether fried chicken salad, veal cheek or Munich schnitzel, good and okay in terms of price! Gladly again!

Nice, large beer garden halfway in the forest. Within a 2-minute walk you have a beautiful view of Munich. The prices for food are unfortunately very high for the quality offered. CoVid measures are unfortunately only half-heartedly implemented. The beer is delicious and it is poured well. The beer garden is very well attended.

The best and only beer garden with Bavarian tradition where you can still take your food with you. Playground for children is ok too. Toilets clean.

Next plus point, cold dishes can also be brought by yourself! The beer garden is located directly in the forest and is spacious. With self-service you can pick up very tasty dishes and drinks. Highly recommended all around!

After the change of ownership, everything changed to positive - at least for the beer garden - which we visited. The food got better, more varied and cheaper. Otherwise, little has actually changed. As before, the beer garden is in a quiet location in the Dachau hinterland and has also been well visited by the greater Munich area for years. We would love to come back.

Great beer garden, here you can bring your own food and eat, only drinks have to be bought. If you don't bring any food with you, you can also buy the usual food here, so you have to queue up and bring your own food to the table. There is also a restaurant where you can choose from a menu and the food is then brought to the table. In the beer garden there are Helles, Radler, Weissbier and Russ, either in measure or in 0.5 liters, of course non-alcoholic drinks and recently also Pils. Unfortunately not a Bitburger but an Austrian product. There are a lot of tables, you can choose whether you want to sit in the sun or in the shade. The tables are large and sufficient for 18 people, if the group is smaller you just sit down somewhere after asking nicely. There is a large parking lot for cars, unfortunately no real one for bicycles. The beer garden is very popular, so always plan some time to wait until a space becomes available. A visit is definitely recommended.

Very beautiful beer garden with self service in the hilltops above the village Ampermoching. Prices are high but comparable to similar beer gardens in Munich. Perfect bike stop during a tour along the Amper river.

Very nice beer garden and great economy, always worth a visit. The beer garden is beautifully situated in the forest, the beer banks are nicely distributed and offer plenty of space. For the children there is a nice forest playground. There is also a super beautiful view over Munich towards the mountains.

Very nice restaurant with good Bavarian cuisine. But I prefer to go there because of the beautiful, large beer garden. This is beautifully in the shade and the self-service counter has a large selection of dishes. This place is easily accessible by bike or car. There are enough parking spaces available.

One of the most beautiful "Biergarten" s around Munich! Convenient sitting under large trees in a forest, good food and even better beer ;-) just 500 m up the hill, you get a great panoramic view of Munich at night. if you wanna get an impression of the traditional Bavarian restaurant & beer garden culture, this might be one of the best places to go.

Very nice beer garden, below old trees, on a slope - greater Munich area price ranges, decent food quality. Always worth a bicycle excursion, but beware the final ascent... Low gears strongly recommended!
